This is a great point, and illiteracy did cross my mind as I was writing this. I've also read before that CSA and illiteracy may be linked as well. I wouldn't be shocked if this cocktail of early life trauma leads to people seeking things like the manosphere community, but presents in women in different ways(obesity, etc).
