What has irked me the most about these so-called social justice experts is how SO MANY people who accused Sorb3t of appropriation couldn’t be bothered to research what culture they were seemingly appropriating, with so many TikTok users accusing them of appropriating K-Pop and Korean culture despite the girls very clearly speaking Japanese and participating in Japanese idol culture. It gives an impression of wanting to be right, not just. I actually really love the idea of there being a homegrown indie idol community as someone who wanted to be a J or K-Pop star but was tragically born on the wrong side of the planet. Although I found them cringe at first, I hope Sorb3t keeps going.

These poor girls! I don’t get why people have to harass others online. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it. I have gotten mostly negative reactions of any YouTube video or fashion coord photo I have uploaded in a space of strangers so I keep my accounts mostly private and stick to people I know personally or close online friends who have the same tastes and humor. It’s so sad that people have to keep killing the hopefulness and dreams of young girls though. 😞
